What I know about Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift was her real name. But in fact, we all know her known as Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift was born on 13th of December, 1989. She was raised in Pennsylvania but moved to Nashville, Tennessee. That was the hometown of home-grown talented artists in the area.

Little I knew about her when I heard her song of Love Story. Her upbeat song Love Story was a mighty heart that drives me away. I couldn’t explained how she raised from her fame. Her beauty is gaining all teenagers to listen to her music as well. But the Love Story single came from her second album Fearless. Her first self-titled album Taylor Swift debuted in 2006, but her second album Fearless came around late of 2008. It was a hit album, probably most of her age was a phenomenon female singer with a compassion writing on her own songs as well. Then her most requested songs White Horse, You Belong With Me and Fearless grew phenomenon as well here in the Philippines.

 

Her third studio album Speak Now came around in late of 2010. Her best songs I’ve heard her from her was Back to December, The Story of Us and Ours. And the rest of her third studio album I’ve didn’t chance to listen the whole studio album. And the fourth studio album Red also came in late of 2012. The hits I’ve listened from the radio, television or airwaves was We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Red.

 

Taylor Swift was a sweet soul female singer I’ve listen mostly from her heart. And I guarantee that this female singer would be last through generation to generation. Hope me if I am correct or wrong. And Taylor was been dated by some of the famous celebrities who Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and from One Direction singer, Harry Styles. And she already landed some of the movies I’ve watched already were Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009 and Lorax in 2012 who gave the voice of Audrey.

 

She bagged numerous awards already everywhere in the music industry and almost saved the music industry. Taylor Swift is one of the songwriters I’ve listened from her. And you dig her own style of singing songs in her generation today.

Year-End: Celebrities that I saw this 2013

They were unknown celebrities everywhere I go. Once I step on the entertainment industry, it must be my calling for me to get in. Maybe that was why I’ve had several pictures I saw from them.

 

One from GMA channel I saw, before when my grandparents’ had celebrating their 65th anniversary last March 30, 2013, was none other than German Moreno. German Moreno I knew in my life. I’ve watched his That’s Entertainment television show before. I was glued watching too many shows when I was a kid.

The only celebrities I’ve remembered from That’s Entertainment was from Monday group: Francis Magalona, Lotlot de Leon, Isabel Granada, Ruffa Gutierrez, Aiko Melendez, Carmina Villaroel, Ian Veneracion, Isko Moreno and Assunta de Rossi; from Tuesday group: Rita Avila, Billy Joe Crawford, Donna Cruz, Jean Garcia, Maricar de Mesa, Ara Mina, Dingdong Avanzado, Jessa Zaragoza, Janno Gibbs, Manilyn Reynes, Ana Roces, Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes; from Wednesday group: Rachel Alejandro, Jojo Alejar, Sharmaine Arnaiz, Sheryl Cruz, Sunshine Cruz, Karla Estrada, Jennifer Mendoza and Romnick Sarmienta; from Thursday group: Harlene Bautista (sister of Herbert Bautista), Keempee de Leon, Vina Morales, Lea Salonga, Smokey Manoloto and Jennifer Sevilla; and from Friday group: Sunshine Dizon, Kier Legaspi, Glydel Mercado, Kristine Paner, Donita Rose and Cris Villanueva. They were only 42 celebrities I knew from That’s Entertainment and the rest of the cast of That’s Entertainment. I didn’t know much of some their fame in the entertainment industry.

 

Only the remaining names I knew in the entertainment industry were Francis Magalona who died from Leukemia in March 6, 2009, Ruffa Gutierrez, Carmina Villaroel, Assunta de Rossi, Billy Crawford, Ara Mina, Janno Gibbs, Judy Ann Santos, Gladys Reyes, Karla Estrada, Vina Morales and Donita Rose. They were those celebrities I knew that was still in the entertainment industry. If you are correct and I am wrong, just state the reason why I should put their name here that is still active in the entertainment industry.

 

Also Leo Martinez I also saw from my glimpse. It was one early morning around 6:30 am. Leo dropped and parked his car near the tricycle terminal in Cainta Greenpark Village where I was cleaning the school premises.

 

And other celebrities like Angel Aquino, Xyriel Manabat, Sofia Millares and Ina Feleo I had seen in this year of 2013.

 

I saw Angel Aquino twice already but I didn’t have a chance to get glimpse picturing with her. It was long time ago when I first saw her in Southwoods hosting some of an event. Sofia and Xyriel visited the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines for their guest appearances that DSAPI invited them to come for their numbers. But I got a chance to have picture with them also.

 

The only celebrities that I didn’t have pictures were Angel Aquino and Ina Feleo. Once in a blue moon, those celebrities came into my eyes. And I said to myself, “they were too many celebrities I saw this year of 2013. But sometimes it is a calling for me when will I enter the entertainment industry.“

 

Then again, I’ve ask myself again, “when will the light of entertainment industry will come to me? Is this a calling to me?” I’ve asked too many questions every day at the front of the mirror. Setting aside from photographer, an artist, a writer, a dancer and an entrepreneur from my everyday I always do, there are many chances that I will get to enter the entertainment industry. And one question is when?

What I know about Lorna Tolentino

Victoria Lorna Aluquin-Fernandez is her real name. But we always call her mostly known as Lorna Tolentino. Lorna Tolentino or L.T. for her abbreviation, was born on December 23, 1961. She turned 52 years old today.

 

We saw Lorna Tolentino growing up as a child actress, then turned up a good actress, a host, an executive producer and a widow of Rudy Fernandez. She gave birth to two wonderful sons, Ralph and Renz Fernandez. But she was also a stepmother to Mark Anthony Fernandez who Rudy Fernandez had a child to another woman. But that is another story from Rudy Fernandez.

 

Lorna had numerous movies in her belt already and also grabbed many awards in the past. From her latest television series Genesis will end soon on Friday which it is slated in evening series. Lorna has worked many projects from RPN channel, GMA Network, ABS-CBN and TV5. One television series I’ve remembered that I watched was Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (One Great Love) where she portrayed as Alondra Sebastiano-Del Tierro. And she also worked together with Coco Martin, Maja Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, Martin del Rosario and John Estrada. Amy Austria-Ventura, Tonton Gutierrez, Boots Anson-Roa, Ronaldo Valdez and Dante Rivero was also there for supporting cast.

 

She did 34 television cameos and 75 movie appearances in various film projects. And Lorna did as an executive producer with 7 projects under her belt. With 19 awards to her name, Lorna has also 40 nominations today.

 

I didn’t know all about Lorna Tolentino. But I guess I just want to write to her fame from her numerous projects already. If I have a project, maybe I will include her in the future. Or maybe that I am willing to take a risk to gain my own name. Soon, but not later, and it will come to me some time in the future for me.

 

One of the old movies Lorna did in 1990’s was Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara (Kill Barbara in Shock). She shared the film with Antoinette Taus, my ultimate crush before. But now, Antoinette resides in California in present times. And Lorna also did twice in Mano Po series in Mano Po 5: Gua Ai Di that was last shown in 2006 and Mano Po 2: My Home in 2003. Lorna joined with Jiro Manio in Magnifico last shown in 2003. But the last she was seen in television series of Genesis where Lorna did portraying as a president of the Philippines leaving the planet going to the spaceship with someone she really shared to love with. But somehow at the end of the series won’t be in top of my list. Because I haven’t watch Genesis yet. Sorry to bother you.

A personal note for Ellen DeGeneres

This isn’t the best time to write this journal studio. Well, perhaps I might be personally want to enter the entertainment industry in United States. Here in the Philippines, perhaps I might enter in the entertainment industry. But I keep my eye either of the two. Because in the America, you are entering the new age, the new chapter and the new segment to your life.

 

Yes, I might be sound weird to you but this is my journal studio. First of all, this is not an idea purely either to my blog writes the other days or the other months. I might be pursuing in abroad well to get paid and have to bring all my savings back in the Philippines.

 

I love English language. I love how to write in English. Well, I’m not English or American either. I’m a Filipino. Secondly, I am endeavor to change my world in the next four years in my life. Hmm…I might be sound interesting either.

 

To all hosts in America or to Ellen DeGeneres perhaps, I want to be include in your shows. Well personally, I don’t have television in my room right now. Because we are terribly having experiencing cable connections inside our house. How can you install the cable connection which costs you 5,000 pesos to install it back the cable operator, the Skycable owned by Manny Pangilinan. Hmm…but second on thoughts, Manny is manipulating all the Filipinos to buy the 5,000 installer of cable to have your cable back to your television.

 

Third, I don’t want to surprise all the hosts to read about my blog instead. Filipinos are Filipinos. Americans are Americans. Don’t discriminate the fact we are not different. We are, in fact, all human beings in the planet called earth. People misjudged some other people ethnic groups, religions or any other derogatory words perhaps. I might be not an intelligent. But I have a pure heart. Because I have what it takes.

 

Fifth to be honest, I have Down syndrome. Probably you won’t understand how I feel I want to be entertaining to all of you. When I was born, I was diagnosed with condition of mosaic Down syndrome. Later in my teenage years, I had to discover something different. And being different made you stronger. That was when I was in sophomore year in high school. My biology teacher said that I’ve had Down syndrome. I went home and asked my parents. But to tell the truth, it wasn’t good expectations after all.

 

Sixth, the denial stage came afterwards. I was expecting to enroll either of top universities in the Philippines like University of the Philippines (UP), University of Santo Tomas (UST) or De La Salle University (DLSU). All of them entered to my world devouring to me. Yes, I was criticized by my mom that I won’t able to finish on time. She couldn’t believe me that I could finish my studies. To tell the truth, I was depressed and frustrated.

 

Frustration came afterwards when I’ve had to graduate with a culinary certificate in a culinary school. In a culinary school of CCA or Center for Culinary Arts. I met a lot of people. And from them, I grew stronger besides them. My frustration have eaten me after graduation. I was expecting to enroll in music in UST, theater arts in UP or any related courses from both of them in DLSU. I was about to force myself studying more in entertainment field.

 

But not long enough came after me. It took me 13 years to realize that I wasn’t alone. Being having with a condition of being having with Down syndrome, I’ve proved to them I could change and surprise them. I’ve joined in an organization of Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines last February 2012. And the fact was, in fact, that I began enjoying my life afterwards.

 

Living positivity in life is my number one strength. And believing in myself is also my strength. Conquering the fears having feeling I am alone was already gone inside of me. Something tells me that I am purely new again. Two years and three months, I’ve conquered my fears becoming a role model to all my fellow Filipinos, being having with as a disability. But to tell you the truth, I am now as an assistant teacher in Reaching Our Children for the King (ROCK) Integrated School. Full-time assistant teacher perhaps I want to be called. Something new is quite newer to me.

 

This is a quite journey for me. Having to realize what is important to me that I am a role model already each and every sides of being with disability. Last January 2013, I forced myself to support the organization group of Angels Walk. It was a group of Autism Society of the Philippines. I’ve supported the group of which I became a member of DSAPI last December 2012. And a set of new blessings in 2013 came afterwards later in my life. I’ve had a job now which it prolonged breaking my jobless in seven years and seven months. Then I was back in shape as well. I lost 30 pounds just to get in a job that suited me as well and now that I was enjoying in my job.

 

My chances in my wish list next year will be added furthermore. My next wishes have to be happen next year would be that I have to enter in entertainment industry in America and help back in my country Philippines to conquer jobless converting to have jobs. And my advocacy have added prior to my choices: the special education. My home organization, DSAPI and other supported organizations as well will change my life in fact to the fullest. I may be not younger anymore, but someday I leave my words to them. To have and to join with them, in fact, are my advocacy today.

To his name, he would paying no attention for his being ADHD. He also has a trouble in reading, but he definitely cope up watching instead in books on tape, or talk about E-Books.

Everyone is talking Michael Phelps, the champion swimmer of 14 gold medals from Athens and Beijing Olympics. But he definitely took swimming for coping with being having ADHD. He wouldn’t able to keep eyeing on his studies, instead he relied converting to swimming for becoming a fastest swimmer for all time. Talk about the Olympic hero!

What I know about Jessy Mendiola

We all know about Jessy Mendiola was one of the new prettiest faces in the ABS-CBN. She was topped of her show Paraiso where she played as Yanie Alipio-Galang to her opposite actor Matteo Guidecelli as Brennan Galang. Paraiso ended since the last airing episode on April 5, 2013. With 108 episodes of Paraiso, it started since on November 5, 2013. Jessica Mendiola Tawile was her real name. She was born on December 3, 1992. Her zodiac sign was Sagittarius and her Chinese new year was Year of the Monkey.

 

I first saw Jessy in the television series of Katorse where she played as Bettina. The main characters in Katorse were Erich Gonzales, Ejay Falcon, Xian Lim and Enchong Dee. But she was given to do her role in Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo where she played as Christina and given a chance to recurring her role together with the co-star Coco Martin and Gerald Anderson.

 

The truth was that I really liked her from the start of the television series of Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo. She was really my type of mestiza girl. Well I didn’t know of her beauty of all the average she was in. She was also given to play many roles in Maaalaala Mo Kaya episodes where she got seven roles from seven episodes.

 

But the real score in the entertainment industry, Jessy was given a chance to play as Sabel Asuncion-Zaragoza to the opposite leading actors Joseph Marco and the late actor AJ Perez. The television series ended with 70 episodes that ran from December 6, 2010 to March 11, 2011. AJ Perez was given a body award later in his life when he got in car accident in a faithful Good Friday coming from the taping in the province. Unlike Rico Yan, AJ Perez was closely have a look-a-like face to Rico. Despite with his image, AJ never thought he would be acclaimed as the favorite young actor in the young audience.

 

Jessy was given another chance to portray for the role of Jackie Marasigan in the television series of Budoy. The main characters in Budoy were Gerald Anderson, Jessy Mendiola and Enrique Gil. And despite with the rumors of Budoy, many in the organizations loved the television series but I wasn’t get home earlier despite of my busy schedule in my new job of networking deals. I didn’t manage to watch most of the episodes and didn’t have time to finish of the television series. So I really didn’t know about the television series.

 

In her last television series of Precious Hearts Romances: Paraiso, it was the hot-thrilling television series in the afternoon soap operas. Her leading actor was Matteo Guidecelli. In one of hot-thrilling acclaiming television series of Paraiso, I saw one of the extra characters in the television series was none other than my cousin Ciara Pirote. She was really type of the girl who really wanted to go to the entertainment industry. But the thing she was still in college years.

 

And there was another television series that ABS-CBN gave a chance to Jessy to portray as Maria Mercedes in this part of second half of 2013. I can’t wait to watch the remake of Maria Mercedes.

 

She appeared 31 television appearances already and have had one movie appearance of The Reunion.

She was touted as the sexiest actress when I remembered she got the role as an Invisible Girl in the movie of Fantastic Four. She was born on April 28, 1981. Her zodiac sign was Taurus and her Chinese New Year was the Year of the Rooster.

 

Jessica played various roles in throughout her years naming of her films such as Never Been Kissed (1999), Honey as Honey Daniels (2003), Fantastic Four (2005), Into the Blue (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), Good Luck Chuck (2007), The Eye (2008), Meet Bill (2008), Little Fockers (2010), Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World (2011) and her latest movie of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2013).

Jessica really made for her successful years to come. Not until that I knew, she was also part of the Sin City in 2005. But the movie of Sin City didn’t like my conscience to watch the movie.

 

What I really liked about Jessica Alba? She played as a Sue Storm or alternative ego as the Invisible Girl in the movie of Marvel comics’ Fantastic Four in 2005. During her fame in her years of 2005 really made her the sexiest lady in the planet that topped in the FHM magazine. Well not that I know about, because I have the collection. I have stopped collecting and buying FHM magazines in 2006.

 

Well of course, everybody knows Jessica Alba. And I have a friend. She was a girl. And that my friend was exclusively looking for the right Jessica Alba in her entire life. What I mean was she was not a lesbian. She really adored much of Jessica Alba.

 

I have seen Jessica Alba in her sexiest role in one of her movies was Into the Blue that was released also in 2005. She played as Sydney. And after movie of Fantastic Four, she returned to the movie screen again for the sequel for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Sulfur in 2007.

 

In 2010, Jessica played as Andi Garcia in one of the comedy movie of Little Fockers. And she also played as a spy playing Marissa Wilson in Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World.

 

Jessica Alba paved way of her successful career when she got the role from the television series of Dark Angel that ran from 2000 to 2002. She also won four awards already in her career.

What if Rico Yan still lives

Rico Yan was an actor during his prime time days. He did a various roles already that included his last movie of Got 2 Believe. He gained as the best actor after he died in Los Palmas, Palawan on the day of Good Friday, March 29, 2002.

 

Eleven years after, we all have had missing him so much. For entire of his life, he touched and inspired many actors in his generation. That included AJ Perez who really inspired Rico Yan so much. But he also died. Antonello Joseph Perez or AJ Perez we all known him. His career made him the last taping of his life was the MMK or Maaalaala Mo Kaya episode of Tsinelas.

 

We all endured both actors that inspired us. But despite their deaths, their success maybe got a long way if they were still living up to the present times.

 

If Rico still lives amongst us, he will continue to live his legacy amongst us. He will be doing the projects that made the television series and movies a blockbuster. From the series of Walang Hanggan, he will portraying Daniel that could replace Coco Martin. But in return, Coco Martin did his all best to be the best actor in this generation already. Or maybe he could do some movies that some writers could relate into.

 

Or maybe Rico would play the role of being Sir Chief in the most successful daytime television series of Please Be Careful With My Heart. Jodi Santa Maria was once working with Gimik days along side with Dominic Ochoa, Giselle Toengi, Marvin Agustin and the rest of the Gimik cast. What if Rico would tell to Maya, “I love you” and Maya would answered back, “I love you too.”

 

Or maybe Rico would love to do some movie projects of many things we would like him to do the most he would like to portray. That makes sense.

 

What if Rico Yan still lives amongst us?

 

He would continue his business chains of Tequila Joe’s and some of his brightest ideas. I do too have many brainstorming ideas. But Rico and I have different ways of thinking the point of views in life.

 

He would considering to enter the politics just like his grandfather. I also do have politics bloodline. But the thing is that I really don’t consider entering politics. Politics are much like the battleground for me. And mostly all my relatives from my father’s side have politics side. That includes the Osmenas.

 

I would love to enter the entertainment industry as I always dream to be an actor just like Rico Yan. Being as a versatile actor would love to act in many ways. Despite his image was an angelic and very charm for the audience, every of avid fans of him followed him anywhere.

 

Rico Yan Foundation was released in 2002 as my friends told me about it. Because I was also a member of the group page of I will always remember Rico Yan in facebook groups. If you are not a member yet, better to join the group of I will always remember Rico Yan in facebook. Mostly admins would allow to post in the group as anything to form of Rico, photos for example or anything that relates to Rico. Anything that it didn’t fall in the rules and regulations, you were not allow to enter the group site and you will be ban immediately. As I’ve recalled one thing, there was a member who posted a networking post and it was banned from the group immediately. Oh, and more advice, you are not allowed to type negative feelings towards to other members. All of the members in the group respect to each other.

 

Rico stood 5’9″ tall and he was really a charming and amazing actor. You will be surprise that he will caught you for giving him a glimpse for his looks. And to tell you honestly, he will love to poke and joke around. Rico was a comedian and also a good actor.

 

As I remembered him very well, Rico was an amazing person inside and out. I met him once. But I never have had a chance to talk to him in a long conversation. We have met in one simulation before during I was a waiter during my culinary years. Half of the batch were in the kitchen and half of the batch were in the dining. We all know Carmen Electra as the girl for men’s dreams. But sometimes I might also get dreaming about her. In the same time, Carmen was all men’s dreams. Tara Leigh Patrick was her real name, but we called her in her name as Carmen Electra.

 

It was my first time that I watched Baywatch series during 1990’s together with my siblings and my parents of course. I ran off from my room going inside of my parent’s room. But as long as it goes, it finally pave my way when I get dreaming of her and also Pamela Anderson. Both of them were in the Baywatch series. But we didn’t know about much about her. Carmen was born on April 20, 1972. Her birthday lies today. Her zodiac sign was also interchanging between Aries and Taurus. It was the same thoughts for me because my birthday lies between Pisces and Aquarius. Her chinese new year was the Year of the Rat.

 

Carmen was one of the chosen playmates in the Playboy magazines in the past. But she also appeared in some of the movies I knew. Her film appearances I only knew of her were Good Burger (1997), Starky & Hutch (2004), Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), Scary Movie 4 (2006) and Epic Movie (2007). The only series I watched of her was the memorable Baywatch series that runs from 1989 to 1999 that she played as Lani McKenzie only from 1998-1999. Along side in the Baywatch series were David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Alexandra Paul and  Jeremy Jackson.

 

Carmen was not only as a model she was covering for the Playboy cover but she was also an actress, dancer, television personality, singer and entertainer. Did you know the she can sing? Of course not, as if you already know about her. That was why I put her in one of my article series of What I know about (Entertainment articles).

 

Carmen appeared four times already in Playboy magazines in June 1997, December 2000, April 2003 and the anniversary issue, January 2009. As all you may knew already, Carmen have married the basketball star Dennis Rodman who also known as the bad boy of Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls. She have married twice but both of them she called off the marriage and became single. She currently held as a status as a single lady.

 

Single Lady where Beyonce sang the parody song for the single ladies. And yet, Carmen is still remaining hot and single lady as of today. But what I know about her? Because she was the prettiest lady I have ever seen until now.

We all know about Marie Digby in her song Say It Again. To tell you the truth honestly, Marie also became one of my favorite artists when she discovered from the Youtube. Well of course, Marie proved herself as the next sensational singer in this generation. Marie Christina Digby was her real name. Her birthday lies today, April 16, 1983. Her birthday lies on the zodiac sign of Taurus and on the Chinese new year of Year of the Pig.

Marie was discovered in Youtube singing of many covers of the artists such as Linkin Park, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, Incubus, Lady Gaga, Usher, Beyonce and Nelly Furtado. But despite her remake of Rihanna’s song Umbrella was the most impressive cut that she sang. It was fabulous. And it’s very quite interesting.

Her debut album Unfold with her first single track Say It Again in her album came explosively in the charts. Everyone was singing about her new song. But not everyone knew that she came from the Youtube sensation. Justin Beiber also came from Youtube but Marie was different from Justin. Marie was a Japanese and was the oldest sibling in their family. Although I don’t know about her, it was quite that I really liked her a lot since she came here in the Philippines a few years ago.

She appeared and held her first concert in the Philippines on August 1, 2009, Saturday. I was amazed that she was here. I didn’t see her much as I wanted to catch a glimpse of her. To tell the truth honestly, Marie became one of the freshest faces that I really liked. She have a wonderful sultry voice and the way she sings is that her voice becomes powerful to me. But Marie returned in the Philippines in 2011. Many of the Filipinos began to fall in love to her which she returned for the second time. She have linked to Sam Milby but to tell you the truth honestly, I didn’t know much of this intrigues.

Marie Digby have four studio albums: Unfold (2008), Second Home (2009), Breathing Underwater (2010) and Your Love (2011). It was only her song Say It Again that I always listened at the back of my head.

What I know about Mandy Moore

We all know Mandy Moore as the Aerith Gainsborough where she had voice acting in the game of Kingdom Hearts. I have once heard Many Moore during my high school days and college days when she was doing her first studio album So Real in 19999. Her real name was Amanda Leigh Moore, or we called her as Mandy Moore in her screen name. Her birthday lies today, April 10, 1984 and her zodiac sign was the Aries and her Chinese new year was the Year of the Rat.

 

I firstly knew Mandy Moore since my high school days when I’ve heard of Mandy singing Candy. And the song goes like this, “I’m so addicted, to the loving that you’re feeding to me can’t do without it.” Without a doubt, her sweet soulful voice came to my ears. And I was satisfied her beautiful voice. Honestly, I don’t know much of Mandy Moore when I was in high school and college years until she came in each part of her successful years.

 

In her successful touring together with *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys that she joined in their touring acts. Mandy became successful in the same time Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera also became successful in the years of Mandy’s years. Mandy’s first single in her second studio album, I Wanna Be With You hit in the successful Billboard Hot 100. It was released in the middle of July 2000 and it was during one of my college years when I have had entering in second month studying in school. So I was excited going home as I’ve watched her music video. Mandy became my celebrity crush. But it was a small time of short period of time. It wasn’t as much of other girls I really liked about. Her second single Crush from her same titled album became instantly one of my favorite music.

 

Then when she became a hit of her name, she cruised in a successful movie together with Anne Hathaway. Anne and Mandy played different roles. Anne played as geek-to-princess role while Mandy played as an antagonist. Her role in The Princess Diaries was a success. Although she played a few lines, she remained as my favorite antagonist. But she gave the critics in her breakthrough role in the movie of A Walk to Remember she played Jamie Sullivan. She played the ailing lady when she entered the college having with leukemia in her side.

 

Later in her life, Mandy became once again as a voice actor voicing Rapunzel in the animation movie of Tangled. Tangled became a hit. And I’ve loved her in every way. But in the same time, I still remembered that she did voicing Aerith Gainsborough in the video game of Kingdom Hearts that spun in 2002.

 

Her influences in music career came from Alanis Morisette, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Shania Twain. It was them I knew but as far as I knew, it was still more than them.

What I know about Kathryn Bernardo

We all know about Kathryn Bernardo as Patchot in her latest movie of Must Be…Love. Well at first when I saw her a glimpse in acting, she was very good in her last television series of Princess and I. With Daniel Padilla as her leading man in Must Be…Love, both of them were amazingly the best partners of this generation.

 

Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo was her real name. Or we also know her as Kathryn Bernardo. Her birthday lies today, March 26, 1996. She is born in Cabanutuan City. Her zodiac sign was Aries and her Chinese new year was Year of the Rat. Kathryn was still studying in OB Montessori where the other actresses Aiza Seguerra and Antoinette Taus came from to study in one school in San Juan. Although Kathryn was the newest addition of this generation, I’ve must said that she was really amazing as a student and an actress. But Antoinette became my first celebrity crush. But Kathryn for me, she is beautiful but I’m not falling for her. Antoinette was really special celebrity for me because we both came from Montessori. She came from OB Montessori and I came from Montessori Integrated School of Antipolo.

 

Most of her accomplishments went to her as the best teen actress in the television series of Princess and I. Then later from her latest movie appearance in Must Be…Love together with her leading man Daniel Padilla was also a successful hit in the theaters.

 

Remember the classic drama series of Mara Clara when Judy Ann Santos played as Mara and Gladys Reyes played as Clara. Kathryn and her friend Julia Montes were both real friends in real life. But in the series of Mara Clara 2010, they were playing as the opposite characters. Kathryn played as Mara while her friend Julia played as Clara. Kathryn proved the audience that she was a good actress of this generation. Everyone was telling Kathryn have been comparing to Claudine Barretto. But Kathryn wasn’t Claudine Barretto. Claudine worked her acting skills on her own. But Kathryn Bernardo was Kathryn Bernardo. Claudine was going to turn 34 years old this year. But Kathryn is turning 17 today.

 

Kathryn have made 10 movie appearances and 24 television appearances. Julia and Kathryn came from the television series of Goin’ Bulilit. The both graduated and turned maturely in their roles. But Julia was one year and one week old than Kathryn was. Julia have been celebrated debut party of her 18th birthday in Fernwood Gardens where my relatives owned the venue that her family have been celebrated in 18th birthday. But in the same way, Kathryn proved the critics and the writers of her acting skills have been leveled up already.

 

In her last television appearance of Princess and I and her movie appearance of Must Be…Love have gained a wide young audience who really loved Kathryn and Daniel so much. So the KathNiel is born because of their love partners on-screen. I wasn’t sure about if they were going really dating each other. Both Daniel and Kathryn were still young. No matter what they proved for the young audience, the young audience would probably bought the tickets to watch their movie in theaters.

What I know about Beyonce Knowles

We all know about Beyonce Knowles from the singing sensational group, Destiny’s Child, in 1990’s. And so to speak, Beyonce and the rest of Destiny’s Child have decided their reign in 2006. One of the successful solo artist was none other than, Beyonce Knowles. Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter was her real name. She is born on September 4, 1981 and raised and born in Houston, Texas. But we called her as Beyonce Knowles. She and I have the same birth years. We came from the Year of the Rooster but her zodiac sign was Virgo.

 

Her childhood friend was Kelly Rowland and have met LaTavia Robinson along their road to success. But their name wasn’t Destiny’s Child yet. They became first as Girl’s Tyme. They included Tamar Davis, Nikki  Taylor and Nina Taylor in their girl’s group Girl’s Tyme. They were relatively untimely attracting nationwide. But despite of other members, the Taylor sisters decided not to join anymore plus Tamar Davis. Untimely in their success, LeToya Luckett eventually joined the group. Upon the time they were joined in Elektra Records. Their group name have changed into Girl’s Destiny. It became weird and thus it changed into Destiny’s Child which it launched in 1996. Their first album with the self-titled first studio album became a success in 1998. Their first album included the successful hits, “No, No, No,” “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name.” Their latest single “Say My Name” rose to their success in 2000. Robinson and Luckett also have decided to quit the girls’ group in 2000. But the girls’ group remained successful and have added Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.

 

Michelle Williams came from as a back-up singer of Monica. Later on, Farrah Franklin also decided to quit when Luckett and Robinson filed a lawsuit. Their fourth single “Jumpin’, Jumpin’ ” from the second studio album “The Writing’s on the Wall” became a hit. Later on, their successful top single “Independent Women Part One” became a successful hit when it included from the film soundtrack of Charlie’s Angels. Destiny’s Child third studio album “Survivor” came out in 2001. Also their successful cut tracks, “Survivor” and “Bootylicious” have became worldwide successful hit.

 

Beyonce Knowles‘ solo first studio album “Dangerously in Love” debut in 2003. Her successful cut tracks “Crazy in Love” and “Baby Boy” have became an instant hit in radio airwaves nationwide and worldwide. But the Destiny’s Child fourth and final studio album “Destiny Fulfilled” would have be a last goodbye album for the audience.

 

As I was researching about Beyonce Knowles, she and her girls’ group could have been a long-term in entertainment industry. But it was so sad when I read they were disbanded in 2006. They were compared to The Supremes where the front woman Diana Ross was the lead vocalist of The Supremes. It didn’t matter to me. But honestly, she was the best vocalist of the 1990’s and 2000’s generation. If there were not compared to other groups in the past. The would probably sing up to the youth today. Their inspirational icon was Janet Jackson who have had fame in the early 1980’s.

 

Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle have might pave way to their music stardom that might continue up to this generation. Despite with their disbandment in 2006, I’ve said Beyonce was the successfully having to become a perfect opportunity as a solo artist. She was one of my favorite solo artists in early 2000’s. Like I was singing their song, “Survivor” during my culinary days in college. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to bring her back. But it was good to hear some of her beautiful hit singles, “Deja Vu” in 2006, “Beautiful Liar” with Shakira in 2007, “Halo,” “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” in 2008, “Telephone” with Lady Gaga in 2009 and “Run the World (Girls)” in 2011.

We all know about Katy Perry as a singer. But do you really know about her? Well in this article, you will find out why I am writing about her. Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was her real name. For somehow, if you notice the surname of Hudson, she has same name with Katy Hudson in the entertainment industry. So someone picked the name of Perry. Thus, she became a beautiful Katy Perry. Her birthday falls in October 25, 1984.  Her zodiac sign is Scorpio and her Chinese new year is Year of the Rat.

 

To tell you the truth honestly, I really have a huge crush on her ever since she was starting as she became  a breakthrough artist in 2007. With her pop-catchy song, “I Kissed A Girl” gave her way to become a successful move. Although she have had been using her name as Katy Hudson before. She really started in 1999 way before as a singer. As all of you didn’t know about her, Katy revolved my life. She really electrified my story also. But in the same way her song was one of my favorite songs. Then her next song “Hot n Cold” also became a hit in the Philippines shore. Her powerful pop and beautiful voice have really electrified her audience and including the Philippines.

 

Katy Perry was one that I become attached to sing her songs. Aside from her songs, “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot n Cold” that became hit, her next song was “California Girls” also became a hit. The radio airwaves and the television were also becoming like a fever because of her. Of course, everyone loves her.

 

She have had 11 television guest appearances already such as American Idol, The X-Factor, Sesame Street, The Simpsons and Saturday Night Live. She also gave a voice actress in one of my favorite cartoons before. It was The Smurfs when it was released in 2011. Somehow I was really amazed because of her. Being as a prettiest faces in America, she really gave notice for young audience where all young girls and female teenagers wanted to follow her. Although it’s a bit of a chance. So I’ve decide to put her what I really know about her.

 

Besides of her hits “I Kissed a Girl,” “Hot n Cold” and “California Girls” were “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.,” “The One That Got Away,” “Part of Me” and “Wide Awake.” Her nine top-hit songs made her as a third highest recording artist. She also have had three studio albums: “Katy Hudson,” “One of the Boys” and “Teenage Dream.” I wish she could collaborate with the Back Street Boys because the BSB is one of among the highest record sales in all-time in America and other countries as well. Well of course, there’s Justin Beiber. Justin have made his way but he still have to learn of his lessons despite of his success around the world.

 

Katy have made some of her accomplishments as an recording artists. Somehow I really want her to become one of my characters in my story. But I haven’t pick a perfect character for her. Hmm…if I am too curious about my projects, I would probably put myself in jeopardy. I have to try somehow I want it to. Katy Perry also have had an opening act in No Doubt‘s concert in 2009.

 

One of the trivia I’ve found about her was that she had been following Madonna as her inspirational icon in her career. Madonna also evolved throughout the times from her songs although Katy Perry also followed her.

The boy band and the girl band back in early 1990’s and early 2000’s comes alive. Those times were the time of American boy bands and girl bands. One of my favorite boy bands during my time was Backstreet Boys, Boys II Men, and some other to mention. Well occasionally, I have some their studio albums. And during that time, you have to buy the cassette tapes, neither the VCD nor the DVD exists that time.

 

People nowadays listen to the Korean Pop, but the American dream and European dream hopes to bring back the boy band and girl band to come back alive. One of them was One Direction. One Direction consists five men in the group. They were Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. All of them were graduated in X-Factor singing contest in the television hit series.

 

In fact, the boy bands and the girl bands are keeping down in the ground before. During the early 1940’s and 1950’s were the classy ones. From the barbershop music to this generation’s music has evolve already. I give you some examples. Do you remember The Osmonds, The Jackson 5, The Beatles, and The Monkees? Who have the music background before? Them. Michael Jackson kicked a lot from his sensational signatures during he was still alive. Beside from his sensational signature Moon Walk, anybody could make a new move. Dancing sensation comes from him and also Bobby Brown and Elvis Presley made their own dancing moves.

 

Where are the boy bands come from? Boy bands come from naturally in 1940’s, 1950’s and 1960’s. And the first ones was that I have mentioned above in 1960’s. Well of course, not everyone knows exactly what and where does that it come from. Even if you have a talent, many have shapes in life.

 

In 1970’s and 1980’s, sensational boy bands came alive again. This time, Menudo, New Edition and New Kids on the Block came alive with their own moves and own hit songs. New Edition consisted of six men. They were Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill. Bobby Brown was one of the famous who have made his own moves that sparked in entertainment industry with the dancing sensation.

 

New Kids on the Block launched their stardom during their height in their success in 1984 to 1994. With the members of New Kids on the Block, they were Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Joey McIntyre. And the past members of New Kids on the Block were Mark Wahlberg and Jamie Kelly. Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre and Mark Wahlberg still continued their legacy until early 2000’s. But Mark Wahlberg, now an actor, is still working on his part in the entertainment industry. While Jordan Knight and Joey McIntyre were kept their feet in the entertainment industry until early 2000’s.

 

But the word of “boy bands” was not introduced in the past. It didn’t imprint at the back of our head. So I think this is the perfect article that can combine with the title of Why the Korean Pop comes alive. Boy bands have been introduced in 1990’s. If you were 1990’s baby or 1980’s baby, you would probably loved to hear some of the songs of Boys 2 Men, Take That, All-4-One, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Boyzone, 98 Degrees, The Moffatts, Hanson and Westlife.

 

Boys II Men consisted of five men before, now three men, and were born in 1988. They were Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris. With the past members were Michael McCary and Marc Nelson. Take That consisted of five men and were born in 1990 up to 1996. But they came back in 2005 up to the present. They were Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and sensational Robbie Williams. Take That and Boys II Men are still alive up to the present. All-4-One consisted of four men and were born in 1993. They were Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez and Tony Borowiak. Backstreet Boys consisted five men and were born in 1993. They were AJ MCLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Litrell. *NYSNC consisted of five men and were born in 1995 and lasted until 2002. They were Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez and Lance Bass. The group dismantled in 2002 after Justin Timberlake came apart in his own studio album, while the others stayed in the entertainment industry.

 

Boyzone consisted of five men, now only four men and were born in 1993 up to 2000. And they were initially coming back in 2007. They were Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch and their past member Stephen Gately. 98 Degrees consisted of four men and were born in 1996 up to 2005. And they also came back in 2012. They were Nick Lachey, Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons and Drew Lachey. Nick Lachey have been linked to Jessica Simpson then later separated. The Moffatts consisted of four young siblings and were born in 1990 until 2001. Then later it came back, and stopped again the same year of 2012. They were Scott Moffatt, Clint Moffatt, Bob Moffatt and Dave Moffatt. Hanson consisted of three Hanson siblings and were born in 1992 up to the present times. They were Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson and Zac Hanson. And Westlife consisted of five men and were born in 1998. Then they stopped in the year of 2012. They were Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and Brian McFadden.

 

Ten boy bands that I’ve been mentioned were in my time. They were the successful boy bands. Although some all female-group also came alive. Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child were also born in 1990’s. Spice Girls consisted of five girls and were born in 1994 and stopped in 2000. Then they came back in 2007 and stopped again in 2008. But they reappeared again and stopped in the same of year 2012. They were Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chrisholm, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham. But the Destiny’s Child was the first introduced in 1990’s and formally have had six past members. They were born in 1990 and stopped in 2006. They were Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The six past members were LaTavia Robinson, LeToya Luckett, Farrah Franklin, Tamar Davis, Nikki Taylor and Nina Taylor.

 

Year of new generation that entered in 2000, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC and Westlife dominated the early 2000’s. Then it came Jonas Brothers, A1 and Blue. Blue began in 2000 and stopped in 2005. Then they came back in 2009. They were Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe. A1 began in 1998 and stopped in 2002. Then they once returned again in 2009. They were Mark Read, Ben Adams and Christian Ingebrigsten and their former member Paul Marazzi. Jonas Brothers consisted of three young siblings that started in 2005 and ended in 2011. They were Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas. Then they came back together again in 2012. They were also associated with Demi Lovato. Simple Plan is now considered the new boy band that they started in 1999 until to the present times. They were Pierre Bouvier, Sebastian Lefebvre, David Desrosiers, Chuck Comeau and Jeff Stinco.

 

Along the road in the entertainment world, the Taiwanese boy band F4 became a top selling artists in 2000’s from the successful hit TV series, Meteor Garden that sparked around the world. Here comes the new generation, One Direction, The Wanted and Big Time Rush brought boy bands alive again and kicked the entire world. One Direction came from the reality singing TV contest, the X-Factor. They started in 2010 and still dominated in the entertainment world. The Wanted also brought boy band world in the entertainment world. The Wanted consisted five men and started in 2009. They were Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes. And Big Time Rush also came in the entertainment world as the new 2010’s boy bands had been introduced. They started in 2009 and they were Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson.

 

Normally we understand the feeling of boy bands fever in this generation. Where did it start? It came from The Monkees, one of the first boy band in the entertainment history. And it came a big fever for the younger audience today. A lot of girls screaming their names, and a new breed of artists came and brought the boy band fever. The reason, why the Korean Pop comes alive? It have been a fever. A lot of new artists of this generation. And I think only two all-female groups I’ve really like from Korean Pop. And that was 2NE1 and Girls Generation. And the rest of the Korean Pop invasion in the entertainment world came kicking the Philippine shore since 2003. And there was a radio inside your room and banging your room so loudly with Korean pop songs. I didn’t mean that I don’t like them. It’s just that I’m a not-so-good writer, but loves writing what I have knowledge in the entertainment world.

 

One of the successful boy bands New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys combined their success and launched in 2012 where they held NKOTBSB concerts around the world including the Philippines. Backstreet Boys held the number one boy band group in the entertainment world with $130 million dollars and they were in 20 years already in the entertainment world. Kevin Richardson came back strong with them. And so the Korean pop sensational groups came in the radar such as Super Junior, Big Bang, TVXQ, U-KISS, 2PM, Arashi and SM*SH. It was originally that Korean Pop groups started in late 2000’s when the F4 group introduced the entertainment world with Asian sensational groups.

 

2NE1 consisted with four females and started in 2009. They were CL, Bom, Dara and Minzy. Dara was formerly working in the Philippines and have joined 2NE1 for their successful all female group. First Year Anniversary

Happy 1st studio year anniversary!

 

Since I haven’t post an article a few days ago. Since this is my first anniversary article, I would take note as a different version for this year. There will be a few adjustments. But in the same way, there will be another set of quote poems soon.

 

I’ve made 78 English quote poems (English quotes 1-35), 54 Tagalog quote poems (Tagalog quotes 1-26), Sunday Sonnets I-III, 3 short stories (A Sailor’s Code, Road to America Chapter 1 and Winter Islands), 8 Spanish quote poems (Spanish quotes 1-4) and 3 songs (Halfway Around The World, The Sunset and The Girl I Love, and Valentines 101) that made it published already.

So far I’ve made progressive last year and I’ve made 180 articles. And I topped some of the best comments I’ve received from 19 articles out of 180 articles. The most comments of my articles were A Dog’s Life and NBA Dynasties with 12 comments and 1 like each article. And the most likes of my article was Why writing becomes addictive with 10 likes.

 

Each time I write an article has making progressively. And last year’s views were 2,840 page views. The last thing I know that my page views this year goes up with 3,098 views. It becomes accurately progressive for me. And I know for the world has to know that I am an exquisite writer. I’m not as good writer as you are. But to tell you honestly, I prefer much to be call as to love write whole-heartedly.

 

In the beginning, I wrote and I published. But I was diminished. So I stopped 10 years from which I became too much of words to express. And I don’t know much of the SEO, or page ranks either in the beginning of my life. Yes, I’ve become interested to return last year as I regularly write some of the articles I want to publish. Maybe if you are much conscious of your writing, then you will notice it has something that has to change a little improvements in my studio. I have had blog before in blogspot.com nearly 11 years from now. It had nearly 100 article posts. But along the way, I’ve stopped. So I’ve deleted. After numerous of breakdowns, depressions and frustrations came in to my life in the span of 10 years, and so I’ve said that it was time to go back writing again. So my first article was Expecting the unreal world and published on March 16, 2012, a year ago already.

 

And did you know that day was also the birthday of discovery of the Philippines? And so I think about. And it is so memorable. Like I do mostly in my life is write and write everyday, even in my diaries or store quotes from my cellphones. Those are the most improvements of my life. But the real birth of my addictive in writing was on December 10, 1998 with my first poem. So I’ve remembered and so the history lived on. Philippines turned 492 years old already last March 16, 2013. I also love history, entertainment, sports and some what I want to write about, a limitless in the universal language of English.

 

And the last favorable I write about is me. I love exchanging and sharing my point views of my life. Although being having with Down syndrome is exceptional, I am deeply in love to girls’ heart. But honestly, none of them become my girlfriend. Only crushes I mostly admire because of them. That is where I put my inspiration in writing and pursue what I’ve to become. People should know someday that my studio will grow bigger and mature in the future.

What I know about Jodi Santa Maria

We all know Jodi Santa Maria as Maya in Be Careful With My Heart that top bills every morning in ABS-CBN. Jodi  Chrissie Garcia Santa Maria is the prettiest faces in the entire network of Star Magic alumna. Well of course, I really admire her because of her prettiest face. With known as versatile actress, Jodi remains in the network of ABS-CBN. Or simply we called her as Jodi Santa Maria.

 

Jodi’s first appearance was Gimik where the inspirational icon Rico Yan worked with her during his years. Jodi is born on June 16, 1982. She is in Year of the Dog in Chinese new year and in zodiac sign of Gemini. Jodi made 39 television appearances in the network while she achieved 18 movie appearances.

 

With Rico Yan in her first year of appearances, Star Magic circle batch was released that included her and Rico Yan. Both of them were the first among that appeared in ABS-CBN. One of my favorite television series I watched was Gimik (1999), Pangako Sa Iyo (2000), Kung Fu Kids (2008), Tayong Dalawa (2009), Noah (2010-2011), 100 Days to Heaven (2011) and the most successful series, Be Careful With My Heart (2012-2013).

 

Jodi have worked already with Rico Yan, Dominic Ochoa, Marvin Agustin, Jericho Rosales, Kristine Hermosa, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Piolo Pascual and among others. She may be the prettiest faces in the network that pair with Richard Yap. And she is the most admired person of this generation.

 

Despite she has a child already, she remain one of my favorite faces in ABS-CBN. Well of course, Be Careful With My Heart co-actors admit that Richard Yap and her have link in romantic scenes in the said of series-hit. Loving her is the most important. No matter what other people have said to me, she is unbeatable. But I am willing to describe her one word and that is, “breakthrough.” She is the most breakthrough artist this year and yet she records the platinum of the album of Be Careful With My Heart series.

 

Being having work together with Rico Yan, Jodi is in my top list that I consider to work with her. And I haven’t get a chance to meet her yet. But I’ve met Giselle Toengi and Nikki Valdez already during Rico Yan’s years. But to tell you honestly, it is hard to say of this but sometimes I dream of her. It’s an admiration that I’ve really admire of her. Her acting skills is already in next level. Perhaps I would like more to see her in the future. Together with Rico Yan, Giselle Toengi and Nikki Valdez I’ve met already in person, they were all good-looking and down-to-earth. If only Rico Yan is still alive, he would probably replace Richard Yap in his role of Sir Chief in Be Careful With My Heart. Richard and Rico have both chinese lineage, thus the same of their good background.

 

If you can tell me what story I would to give her as a role, I would probably putting her as one of my main cast of my own story of The Legendary of Fireice. Nobody would claim that title and of course, nobody knows my story. That is why I am still eyeing to be the actor, writer and production staff in the entertainment industry. Like Rico Yan, I also have business that I’m doing for almost 6 years and 9 months already. And I have a lots of story catching in the production world.

 

Making a television series-hit could be hard to make, but if you love the entertainment industry so much. You would probably love making movies, television series, recording songs, production studio or even higher achievement, the first production theme park in the Philippines just like in United States. Investors would probably invest their money to provide more jobs for all Filipinos and create a largest tourism that can catch up in Asian countries like Malaysia and Singapore.

What I know about Rico Yan

We all know about Rico Yan. His birthday lies tomorrow, March 14, 1975, 28 days after Valentine’s Day. His full name is Ricardo Carlos Castro Yan. Or simply we know him as Rico Yan.

 

Rico was dearly inspiration for me. I know him a lot. But not all of them, few of them I guess. It was 11 years already since he passed away in March 29, 2002, Good Friday. His closest friends, Dominic Ochoa and Marvin Agustin were been together with him since his last days. One day another comes closer. Once I think this way, nobody could replace the same Rico back to the entertainment industry.

 

When I became clueless, I was still shocked. 15 days apart after his birthday, Rico have dearly become our inspiration icon. He deserved to be the best man in our hearts. It was 2001, a year before he passed away. I was still in culinary years. His first cousin, Diego Castro, was my batch mate in culinary years together with Danica Sotto, daughter of Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie. Then at the back of my head, my cousin’s classmate was Rico’s cousin who was studying in Miriam College before. Of all of the same connections I have with Rico is interchanging. It was Jao Mapa who became my cousin’s relationship. I saw Jao Mapa every time he went to our grandparents’ house.

 

I was still shocked during that time. I am not aware what I am becoming to my situation. Being standing out or out of place makes me thinking what I should think about. Who is Jao Mapa? Oh, yes. Jao Mapa was one of the Ang TV days during his big break in ABS-CBN. He was also brother to Diego Mapa, the vocalist in Pedicab. Besides Jao Mapa, I also become aware of my surroundings. Danny Javier, Dyords Javier and among of the politicians I know was Jinggoy Estrada. I was still shocked when I visited grandmother’s funeral who Danny Javier’s mother died before. All of them were in entertainment industry and government industry when I saw them. Then later in my life, Rico entered in my life.

 

It was a perfect opportunity in my life. It was when he was still in ‘Sang Linggo Na Po Sila noontime series where my uncle was there. I’ve even asked my father if I have connections with my uncle. Yes, there were first cousins. But to tell you the truth, honestly I became aware of entertainment industry. One event to another, I’ve always want to become an actor someday. Who will be thinking wanting to be an artist if you are still dreaming? Well at first, I was afraid and demented. Knowing myself have become clearly. Rico was one of the first inspiration in my life. It was when he appeared in Master commercial. Then one commercial to another, I grew becoming to be the best what I have.

 

When Rico died, I was denying that he wasn’t dead. But it confirmed in newspapers and television when he actually died in Los Palmas in Palawan. I was curious that time. I thought it was my end of my world. But after 11 years have been pass, he grew in my heart stronger and kept me stronger enough not to think of him anymore. Because I want to be who I will become just like him.

What I know about Alodia Gosiengfiao

I firstly saw Alodia Gosiengfiao in the internet and in the cosplay before. It was during when I entered and joined deviantart.com  seven years from now.The first time I saw her, she was this so beautiful and I can’t imagined my eyes following her in my page. Although we haven’t see each other, I also know about her. Let me give a recap about Alodia Gosiengfiao.

 

Alodia Almira Arraiza Gosiengfiao in real life made debut her in 15 years of age when I started to know she was cosplaying that time. And I believed during that time, I’ve been finished and graduated in my culinary years in 2003. Her birthday lies on March 9, 1988. She was dedicating this far as I knew this far.

 

At her age of 15, she continued as a star cosplayer and played as one of the inspiration in cosplay society. Little did I know was her unique in cosplay. She also loves to draw as I do. She loves to play video games as I am also doing. But I stopped four years ago playing games. Sometimes I get bored easily in the game. Games are always getting that boring although you will stick on the same game platform. I saw her during the Khan Online launching party, that was when I finally did applying for a game account. And I chose the character player of Micko. But she played as Necromancer in Khan Online launching party. During that time, my character ranked below one of the rank 1000 in Level 100. Then I started to continue playing my character until I have reached rank 700+ in intelligence which you will require a lot of mana points. One of the guild I’ve joined was Renaissance. And Helgra was one of the leader of the guild teams. I’ve joined two of the eyeball tournaments before. And I was pretty heavily addicted that time.

 

Well considering that I played hardcore online games before, I was too becoming one of browser game addict in facebooks. Most of them are not here anymore. Because I don’t want to keep that too long. Some of this generation has too many attention of application games. Back to the subject I was saying of Alodia Gosiengfiao.

 

Alodia was also model, artist, actress and recording artist. I also watched her show before in ABS-CBN’s Laugh Out Loud. But before that, I also watched Animax where I watched a thousand episodes of animation series in Animax. It was really addictive although today was becoming too little of heavy of knowledge. Alodia has two lineages in her life as Spanish and Chinese. Her mother was Spanish and her father was Chinese. But standing in our nation, she is a Filipina. She was the one of the finest cosplayer today. And I always followed her because she was beautiful in cosplay costumes she was wearing.
